Support

We're here to help. Most questions get a reply within one business day.

Contact us

For any question — billing, account, imports, bugs, feature requests — email us at support@dividendinsight.com.

Please include your account email and a screenshot or short description of what you're seeing. The more detail you share, the faster we can help.

Account & sign-in

  • Forgot password — use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in page to reset it via email.
  • Reset email not arriving — check your spam folder. If it's still missing after a few minutes, email support and we'll reset it manually.
  • Sign in with Google or Apple — both are supported on web and mobile. If you originally signed up with a password and want to switch, contact support.
  • Delete your account — go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or email us. Account deletion permanently removes your portfolios, holdings, and personal data.

Billing & subscriptions

  • Free trial — Basic and Premium plans include a 14-day free trial with full access. We charge your card automatically when the trial ends, only if you haven't cancelled.
  • Cancel anytime — Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Cancelling during the trial keeps you on the free plan with no charge.
  • Refunds — if you were charged unexpectedly, email us within 7 days and we'll make it right.
  • Switch plans — upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings → Subscription. Changes take effect immediately, and we prorate the difference.
  • Yearly plans — we offer a yearly option with ~20% savings. See pricing for details.

Importing your holdings

  • Supported brokers — Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard, Robinhood, and any standard CSV format with symbol, shares, cost basis, and purchase date columns.
  • How to import — open a portfolio, click "Import", upload your CSV, and map the columns. We auto-detect most broker formats.
  • Manual entry — you can also add positions one at a time from the portfolio detail screen.
  • Export — every paid plan includes CSV export for your portfolios and positions, so your data is always portable.
  • Import errors — most issues come from missing columns or unsupported tickers. Email us your file (with any sensitive info removed) and we'll diagnose it.

Mobile app

  • iOS — download Dividend Insight on the App Store. Sign in with the same email and password as the web app.
  • Push notifications — enable from Settings → Notifications inside the app. We'll let you know about upcoming dividends and important account events.
  • Face ID / Touch ID — enable from Settings → Security to lock the app with biometrics.
  • Sync — your portfolios sync automatically between web and mobile. If something looks out of date, pull down to refresh.

Data & accuracy

  • How often is data updated? — stock prices, dividend payments, payout ratios, growth rates, and analyst ratings refresh daily.
  • Missing or incorrect dividend data — email us the ticker and what you're seeing, and we'll investigate. Most discrepancies trace back to special dividends, splits, or corporate actions.
  • Stock not found — we cover hundreds of dividend-paying U.S. stocks and ETFs. If a ticker is missing, let us know and we'll evaluate adding it.

Privacy & data security

  • We never ask for or store your brokerage credentials.
  • All connections are encrypted via HTTPS, and passwords are securely hashed.
  • Read our full Privacy Policy for details on data handling, third-party services, and your rights.

Feature requests & feedback

We're a small team and we read every email. If there's something you'd like Dividend Insight to do — a new metric, a broker import, an export format, anything — write to us at support@dividendinsight.com with "Feature request" in the subject line.
